No I didn't quit. I called Brad to let him know that I had some serious family things come up. I should be back next week depending on how my grandpa is doing.
Btw, I'm not going to make a new thread about this. But F*** this team has more stupid ass drama than a High School girls basketball team. We need to cut all that S*** out. Its getting stupid, and personally it makes me not even care to play anymore. Football is supposed to be fun. And when there is all this other bull crap going on, it just makes it not fun anymore. The people know who they are just think about it.

Tim, When did u call Brad, cuz he was surprised u weren't at the game, infact had planned on starting you and you werent there. Did you email him or talk personally to him. Not to deface you publicly, but I just asked him about you and his response was " I don't know I haven't talked to him or heard where he is or what his problem is?" So are you sure you talked to Brad. Issues and drama will be addressed at an ownership meeting this friday pm. We will inform players of outcomes and policies at end of meeting. We are expecting players to come spend the night friday for film review, team bonding, and good food and early caravan to yakima. Hope you can be there.
luv,, H

Yeah I called Brad on his cell phone and left him a message. My grandpa had lung cancer, then it spread to his brain. And he was coughing a lot, so my Grandma took him to the hospital. They said that his Lung cancer has come back and it might have spread to his liver so its not looking good. So I have been down here kinda hanging out with him and helping my grandma out.
He is doing better now, they went in for a needle Biopsy yesterday to check out his liver. So we will see.

Well his cell phone was stolen and we didn't get it back for 2 weeks. We just got it back this last weekend. But for future, Brad does better with Email, he checks those multiple times daily. I am sorry to hear about your grandpa, that is rough. Where is your grandpa at?
take care, H

In his room sleeping. Haha. He lives in Shelton (in case you don't know thats kinda a suburb of Olympia.)
That sucks about Brads phone. I called usually things like at better say in person not over an e-mail. But I know now.

Haha, well he is trying to get Pot. I know that. He was asking my aunt and uncle (they are state social workers) if they could get him some cause they would know where to find it.
But he really isn't in much pain, he is just really tired, and weak. But we will see. My mom has been going down there every weekend to spend some time with him but I had been skipping out and going to the games. But I didn't know how many more games I could skip out before well you know. I would rather miss some games to get to spend some extra time with him you know.

Tim, have Doctors give him a prescription for medical marijuana, there is paperwork they must sign. If they will not help him, some doctors don't believe in it. Here is another resource, Medical Marijuana Clinic- www.hemp.org 206 878-1701, this organization states they are doctors who help people obtain medical marijuana with qualifying conditions. Cancer is a qualifying condition. I will caution you and your family on him smoking it though, his lungs will be more irritated and he may cough more therefor causing discomfort and potential harm... worse case causing a tumor to bleed in his lung or brain. There is also fungus in pot, medical marijuana is not grown in controlled environments to keep it disease free, so it has 'critters' on it. These lay dormant in our lungs if we have a normal strong healthy immune system. When our body becomes immune compromised, either from chemo, radiation, aging, or other illness , the fungus can take off and grow in the lung. Literally a fungus ball is what we call them grows in the lung and they are mean deadly infections. We have not been able to Bone Marrow transplant people with curable types of leukemias because we immunosuppress them to get them ready for transplant and a huge fungal ball grows in their lungs. They then finally come clean about smoking pot.(so if you have ever smoked pot, you must always tell your doctor, we wont put you in jail, it helps us prepar for what may be, and we can potentially prevent you from getting really ill) It may have been when they were younger, one time or they may be frequent users. We have even had to remove whole or partial lungs to get people to transplant before so they could live. ;D Now I know we are not at that point with grandpa, I just don't want his final days for him to end up with a nasty fungal infection. They create really high fevers like 104, 105 with chills etc. so what I would recommend is for him to ask for a drug called MARINOL. It is THC only. It works for the nausea aspect and appetite aspect and does give a little high. What is his reason for wanting it? Has he ever smoked pot before? I have had some elderly pts. who just want to try it before they go and that is why they are asking for it. They have always been curious, and now they have a legitimate excuse! Is that not too cute! I just want to hug em! I am sure with his liver mets he is nauseated, and with brain mets you can also be nauseated depending on where they are in the brain, let alone some of the meds we give you. Now don't get me wrong, I am not anti medical marijuana, I would like to see it grown in a controlled environment, so it could be disease free and dispensed at pharmacies. The smoking gives pt.s more relief than the pill Marinol does in most cases. the resource i gave you is new to me, so i don't know much about them yet. You are doing the right thing spending time with grandpa, there are many more football games in your future ;D, not much more time with grandpa. Send all our love and prayers to him and your family, Holly & Brad too

I don't know if he ever smoked it. I think he was just trying to be funny, to lighten the mood a little bit. I will try to get back as soon as possible. I know my cousin who lives down here said she would come over more to hang out with him.
Thanks for everything.
